Manhan Rail Trail Grand Opening: May 22, 2011

A Grand Opening Rolling Party on Sunday, May 22 will mark the completion of the Manhan Rail Trail extension from Easthampton to Northampton. We will perform at noon near the bridge on Route 10 and then parade into Northampton to Veterans Park.

April 30th, Easthampton Earth Day Festival



The Expandable Brass Band will be performing as part of the Easthampton Earth Day Festival at 3pm on Saturday April 30th, 2011. The festival will be held at Eastworks, 116 Pleasant Street.

April 23rd, Earth Day Northampton

The Expandable Brass Band will be performing as part of the Earth Day festivities in Northampton. We will perform in the parade at 10am and in Pulaski Park at 2:15pm. We will perform at other times as appropriate.

05/07/2011- Northampton Pride Parade


We will be performing as part of the Northampton Pride Parade. The parade starts at Noon.

04/02/2011-Flywheel Kids show

The Brass Band will be performing on Saturday April 2 at Flywheel in Easthampton, MA.

This show will be a part of the popular No Nap Happy Hour/Hilltown Families children’s music series.  Past performers in the series have included The Deedle Deedle Dees, R.O.C.K. and Bill Harley.

The show starts at 1:00pm but we will be there starting at 12:00 to learn a song to perform during the show with the kids!

2/12 — Children’s Museum Event

For Love of Stories: A Family Story Valentine "Heart-shaped image formed by book pages"
at the Children’s Museum at Holyoke, 444 Dwight St (Heritage State Park), Holyoke, MA. Saturday Feb 12, 2011, 5:00-8:00 pm. $10/person. Fundraiser benefitting the Friends of the Holyoke Public Library and the Children’s Museum at Holyoke.
The Expandable Brass Band will be the final act of the event, playing 7:30- 8pm. Come earlier to catch the rest of the action:
Shuffles the Clown; Pet an instrument and hear its story told by members of Holyoke Civic Symphony; Story time with master story teller Tom McCabe; Songs and singing games with Roger Tincknell; Story time with Mr. Tim and friends; Face painting; Write and illustrate your story, act out a story, add a story to the story wall.
